Four Exciting Highlights of the 2025 Fall NJ Gem Show

1. Kids Zone – A Family-Friendly Experience

Families will love the interactive Kids Zone, where children can design their own treasure chests to hold the gems, fossils, and minerals they discover throughout the show. The fossil dig pit is always a crowd favorite, letting young explorers unearth buried gems, fossils, and even toy dinosaurs.

2. Asheville Rising Artist Benefit – Supporting Artists Impacted by Hurricane Helene

This year, Hart Events co-founders Russell and Missy Carhart continue their tradition of giving back. The show has partnered with Wendy White, founder of Asheville’s Let’s Choose Love and Asheville Rising – Love Along the Way, to support four Asheville artists affected by Hurricane Helene.

Visitors can view and purchase these artists’ works at the Asheville Rising Artist Benefit, with proceeds and donations going toward the local arts community.

3. Rare Fossils, Gems & Jewelry from Around the World

Explore a global showcase of rare fossils and gems, with featured specimens from Africa, Europe, and North America’s Green River Formation. Exhibits include a Tyrannosaurus rex, woolly mammoth, and a range of fish and mammal fossils.

Collectors and shoppers alike can find everything from affordable trinkets to high-end jewelry, including estate pieces, vintage finds, engagement rings, Native American jewelry, and artisan creations.

4. Interactive Fun for Everyone

From serious collectors to casual visitors, there’s fun around every corner. Try your luck in the Rubber Duck Hunt, where gold and silver-painted ducks hidden throughout the venue can be redeemed for prizes. Attendees can also take part in hands-on activities like geode cracking, metal detecting, gemstone sluicing, and panning for gems.
